What is the annual auction?
The auction is a fun event where many Meadow Heights families, staff and friends come together to have fun, eat good
food and raise money for the school mostly through a live auction and silent auction.
What kind of money does the school need to raise?
Many of the programs available to our kids are funded by the PTA – Music, Art, Library, Field Trips, Enrichment classes. The
auction is our main fundraiser to reach our needed budget goals. This year, we hope to raise over $50,000 from the
How much does it cost to attend the auction?
Tickets cost $75 per person. The ticket buys you entry into the auction, a no-host cocktail hour and a nice sit-down dinner. You don’t
have to purchase anything at the auction, but once you see what’s there, you just might want to!
It’s a seated dinner – can I have a say in who I sit next to?
Yes and no. Dinner is open seating – meaning you claim a seat the night of. If you’d like to make sure you sit with your
friends, you can purchase a reserved table for $100. A table of ten will be reserved for you, along with two bottles of wine,
but it is up to you to tell your friends to come to your table. Also, this does not include your tickets.
What does one wear to the auction?
We don’t want your wardrobe to stop you from coming, so come however you feel comfortable! This year, there is a theme
Back to the ‘80s, so feel free to come dressed up in parachute pants, crimped hair, scrunchies, stretch belts, etc. Or don’t!
Do I need to get a babysitter?
Yes! This is an event for adults. No kids. If you need a sitter, consider UrbanSitter.

What is a Classroom Creation?
There will be loads of amazing things to bid for at the auction, including Classroom Creations. These are original works of
art created by each grade level. Each student at Meadow Heights contributed to their grade level piece. They are beautiful
and unique and a highlight of our auction.
